    • Hi Keith,

Most 1929 $10 FRBNs aren’t too rare, with Dallas and San Francisco being the two less common districts. VF notes range $30-$50. VF San Francisco notes might reach $100, while VF Dallas notes up to $400.

Star notes are much rarer and highly sought after. Rarity and value generally follows in proportion to non-star counterparts; though some common banks like Boston, Richmond and Minneapolis have VF star notes valuing well above $1,000.

Boston, Atlanta and Dallas stars are the rarest, with a VF Dallas valuing up to $8,000. I consulted Schwartz & Lindquist Standard Guide to Small Size Paper Money.

  1. I have a $10 dollar Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, Missouri 1929 series with brown stamp. Hamilton’s photo on the bill and the governor of Missouri was George Hamilton at the time. Number of bill is J01194186A Has J,s on the note.

I have a $20 bill from The Kent National Bank of Kent, Ohio, B000448A, Jackson’s photo. There is the number 652 on the bill. Series of 1929

I would like to know the approximate value of the notes and if they are worth selling. Is there interest in these notes?
