Interstate 40 passes through the southern part of the town, leading east 185 miles to Oklahoma City and west 74 miles to Amarillo. Interstate 40 Business passes through the town as First Street and Railroad Street, connecting to I-40 at Exit 141 west of town and Exit 143 to the east.
